I am a 29 years old pharmacist from Anambra state. I work in a rural community in Abuja at a dispensary which also doubles as a clinic. My goal is to change the face of our healthcare sector where there is a huge gap of ineffectiveness. I want to be able to influence WHO and UN health policies. One of my role models is Mrs. Dora Akunyili who has overcome every obstacle to achieve results. I have acquired so much from the YWL Program that I feel like doing it all over again. I made new friends, and new contacts and I am forever grateful for this opportunity.

I am 21 years old. I am an undergraduate of Lagos State University, studying Electronics and Computer Engineering. I am a native of Ikare-Akoko, Ondo State. I love reading and leading. I have always had the burning desire to break through the barriers hindering the attainment of the full potentials of women. That is why I chose Engineering as a career, which is known for its limited female graduates. I presently serve as the Chairman of the Finance Committee, Younger Member's Section, Institute of Electrical Engineers. I had always wanted a formal training that can channel my mind and efforts to achieving my desires. KIND's YWL Program couldn't have come at a better time. It has fulfilled my quest for leadership tutoring. It was a lifetime opportunity and I am so grateful. Thank you KIND.

Presently, I work in a rural area of Ilorin, Kwara state where there are substandard healthcare services for mothers. I hope to be able to influence healthcare policies.
YWL has brought so much joy and hope to me. I am a little introverted. Courses like communication have helped me a lot. I was able to expand my horizon and vision. Thank you KIND for being KIND to me.

Joy Mbeson
At 17 years old, I'm the youngest of the participants. I am a native of Boki in Cross River State. I am awaiting admission into the higher institution. I believe that young women have a lot to offer their world if given the chance to express their potentials. That is why I started a youth group consisting of young girls from my local govt. they are called 'Golden Babes'. We play ball , act dramas and sing. I also have an organization called Boki Young Women Initiative, where young women are encouraged to use whatever talents they have to the utmost. This young group has achieved a lot, including playing against an all boys team at a football match and winning 3-1. It gave the girls in my group a lot of confidence, so they want to do more.
At the YWL program, I learnt a lot of things like having a mission, vision and being proactive. Thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of it.
